The Bonneville is a great choice for those wanting to make their classic bike “their own”. It has everything one would need and nothing you don’t want. It differs from the Bonneville T-100 and the Thruxton in a few ways. It sports aluminum wheels, rather than spokes. And the front wheel has a 17-inch diameter instead of 19-inch found on other classic models. This is a nice feature, as the smaller wheel can provide better handling on the road. 7/8-inch handlebars allow for more custom aftermarket options as opposed to the 1-inch diameter bars on the T-100 and Thruxton.
The instrument cluster is more basic. You will not get a tachometer, or a digital odometer and trip. But this can be added at a minimum cost.
In short, the Bonneville provides you with a great starting point to make the classic Triumph you want!
